Email Automation Services
Email Automation Services
Build customer journeys that keep working between campaigns.
Our email automation services plan and improve triggered messages across the customer lifecycle. We map the event, audience, message and follow-up for each journey. The team checks timing and exclusions so automation feels useful to the customer.
Why this may be happening
- Triggers or audience rules may be missing, unreliable or overlapping.
- Messages may ignore what the customer has already bought or asked for.
- Incentives may be repeated without considering margin, consent or customer expectations.
Relevant delivery experience
A CRM migration and more than 40 lifecycle flows. Explore the team’s decisions, reported outcomes and evidence context.
The case documents the platform change and lifecycle capability. It does not publish a separate deliverability or incremental-revenue result.
This experience retains its original brand-side or agency context. Meet the team’s approach to discuss the delivery scope for your business.
How our team helps
We start by finding the cause of the problem. Then we agree the priorities, the work to deliver and who will implement each change.
- Map welcome, purchase, follow-up and return journeys that fit the business.
- Review available events, audience rules, consent and exclusions.
- Build or revise agreed flows, test their behaviour and document ongoing ownership.
Your deliverables
A flow map, message briefs, implementation checks and a maintenance plan.
- A lifecycle map with triggers, timing and suppression rules.
- Agreed message briefs or implemented flows.
- A test record and monitoring checklist.
How we measure results
Agree the customer stages, audience eligibility and message purpose before building flows. Test entry, suppression, exit and customer actions, then review delivery and engagement alongside repeat purchase or customer value where data supports it. A platform-reported revenue total is not automatically incremental revenue; keep its attribution window and limitations visible.
Give each flow a clear purpose
A welcome flow introduces the business and helps a subscriber find the right offer. Purchase follow-up can explain use, delivery or the next relevant product. A return-customer flow needs a reason to contact someone, not just an arbitrary delay.
We review entry conditions, consent, exits and overlap with other messages. A customer who has already bought should not continue through an irrelevant reminder. Testing covers the journey logic as well as the visible email.
Build and maintain the journeys
Each approved flow has a brief covering the audience, trigger, timing, content and measure. Implementation includes a test record and handover information. The scope states which platform connections or data changes are needed.
Automation needs maintenance when products, offers or policies change. Reviews look for weak steps, conflicting messages and customer response. We agree who owns updates so a useful launch does not become an outdated sequence.
A practical example
Illustrative situation: a buyer receives a general discount email immediately after purchasing at full price. We review the trigger and exclusion logic and design a more relevant post-purchase sequence. The fix starts with the customer journey, not another promotion.

Frequently asked questions
Which flows should we build first?
We prioritise journeys with a clear customer need, reliable trigger data and a useful commercial role. The right sequence depends on your business and existing communication.
Can you use our current email platform?
We first assess the platform, integrations and permissions available. Migration is considered only when there is a justified requirement, with scope agreed separately.
How do you stop flows from conflicting?
We define eligibility, exclusions and exit rules, then test representative customer states. Campaign planning must also account for customers receiving automated messages.
Is automated email revenue always incremental?
No. Platform attribution can include orders that would have happened anyway. We interpret those reports alongside engagement, customer behaviour and stronger comparisons where available.
How much does this service cost?
Fees depend on the work, the systems involved and the level of ongoing support. We explain the deliverables, responsibilities and fees in a proposal before you decide. Software, advertising spend and other external charges are identified separately where relevant.
How long does the work take?
Timing depends on the number of flows, platform connections and content approvals.
